     On December 18th, Mt. View was adopted by Vastland Commercial Real Estate.  Judge Sue McKnight Evans presided over the adoption.  Our student witnesses were 5th graders, Camille Ogelsby and Angel Lopez.  During the ceremony Karen Johnson stated that Mt. View was a star that shines in Southeast Davidson county.  Other witnesses included Dr. Fowler, Lane Simpson, our PTA president, parents, students, and teachers. In addition, Ken Renner from Vastland presented the school a check for $2500 to our Performing Arts Programs.  Thank you Vastland for your wonderful generosity! To view an article from The Pencil Foundation you may  click here .
